      Think360 Arts for Learning is a nonprofit dedicated to enriching lives through arts education. Their programs connect professional artists with schools and communities to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

      Goal:
      Design an engaging and accessible annual community report that communicates the client’s mission, vision, values, and impact—supporting their end-of-year giving campaign.

      Design Style:
      Playful and vibrant, aligned with Think360’s brand guidelines. The design incorporated the established color palette and typography, using visual storytelling to maintain audience interest.

      Features:

      • Print and digital versions of the report

      • ADA-compliant layout to ensure accessibility for older adults

      • Compact, booklet-style print format for easy distribution to donors and supporters

Interactive/Print PDF

  • Client Overview:
    The CU Research Hub studies youth organizing in California, focusing on how groups drive long-term community and systems change.

    Goal:
    Create an engaging, youth-friendly PDF to present research findings in seven themed sections.

    Design Style:
    Vibrant and interactive, using brand colors and client-provided copy to maintain consistency and energy.

    Features:

    • Clickable side tabs for easy navigation

Custom Calligraphy Logo

  • I created a custom calligraphy logo for my small business, Ihsan Design Studio. The Arabic calligraphy is handwritten and digitized. The English title adds to the modern feel of the brand. I chose earthy, calm colors to represent peace and a sense of home.

    Design a professional, user-friendly website that clearly communicates services to two distinct audiences — providers and sponsors — while highlighting the organization’s credibility and focus on innovation.

    Clean, modern, and trustworthy, with a focus on clarity and accessibility. The layout emphasizes easy navigation, concise messaging, and a professional aesthetic that instills confidence in both providers and sponsors.

    • Homepage services section with clear calls-to-action: “I am a provider” and “I am a sponsor”

Brand Suite for Coffee Business

  • Client Overview:
    House of Barakah is a specialty coffee shop that blends rich flavors with a welcoming, culturally inspired atmosphere.

    Goal:
    Design a custom logo, color palette, and typography that reflect the shop’s warm, authentic character and connection to tradition.

    Design Style:
    Elegant and inviting, with harmonious green tones symbolizing growth and prosperity. The logo features original Thuluth calligraphy that I handwrote and then digitized to preserve its authentic, handcrafted feel.

Logo Re-Design

  • Client Overview:
    Think360 Arts for Learning is a nonprofit bringing arts education to schools and communities across Colorado.

    Goal:
    Design a 60th anniversary logo that celebrates the milestone while preserving the familiarity and integrity of the existing brand.

    Design Style:
    Playful and cohesive. The number “60” was integrated into the original logo, with “years” placed inside the “6,” and the “0” encircling the signature colorful circle—highlighting the anniversary without overshadowing the core logo.

    Features:

    • Custom anniversary mark for use across marketing materials throughout the year

    • Maintained brand colors and logo recognition

    • Versatile for digital and print use

    Outcome:
    A celebratory logo that honored Think360’s legacy, received strong positive feedback from the community and board, and was featured across their year-long anniversary campaign.

Crewneck Calligraphy Design

  • Client Overview:
    UMMA (United Michigan Muslim Association) is a local mosque and community center dedicated to serving the spiritual, educational, and cultural needs of Muslims in Michigan.

    Goal:
    Design a fall merchandise collection featuring original Arabic calligraphy that reflects UMMA’s identity while offering a modern and wearable piece for the community.

    Design Style:
    Elegant and traditional, rooted in Qur’anic inspiration. The mosque’s name was hand-lettered in Thuluth script on the front, paired with UMMA’s original logo on the sleeve. The back features Surah Al-Imran and its verse number, composed in a circular, manuscript-inspired design. A warm dark brown print was applied on tan and white crewnecks to evoke sophistication and timelessness.

    Features:

    • Handwritten and digitized Arabic calligraphy in Thuluth script

    • Front: UMMA’s name in Arabic

    • Sleeve: Original UMMA logo

    • Back: Circular calligraphy design of Surah Al-Imran and verse number

    • Available in tan and white with dark brown design

    Outcome:
    A meaningful and cohesive apparel design that celebrates Islamic tradition through Arabic calligraphy, strengthens UMMA’s brand identity, and provides the community with wearable art that reflects their values and heritage.
